Linda Lee Murrell

Linda Lee Murrell was born on December 29, 1962 in Brooklyn New York; Blessed to be the daughter of David Lee Murrell & Edith T. McGowan (Ancestors). Linda’s favorite scripture is Psalm 139. Due to the work of the St. Paul Community Baptist Church and EBC, Linda is a Proud Nehemiah Homeowner.

Linda joined SPCBC in April 1987. On Friday, March 14, 1997, Linda was consecrated to the Board of Women’s Ministry/DOZ, which later became the Council of Wise Jewels. Linda took on her life calling as a social worker for the Administration for Children’s Services and on September 13, 2024, after 36 years of service to the Children and Families of New York City, Linda Lee Murrell retired. Linda is a L.M.S.W and A.C.S.W. for the state of New York.

Linda is a published author and playwright. Linda is currently the President/CEO of ETM Theatrical Cultural Production Company LLC. In line with Linda’s purpose of bringing Broadway to East New York, she has partnered with other community stakeholders to provide free theatre to East New York. Linda is a Prayer Intercessor and was previously consecrated to the Sower’s Ministry of teaching.
