Charlene R. Caldwell

Charlene Renaye Caldwell was born on October 28, 1960, the eldest daughter of Charles Richard Caldwell Jr. and Esther Mae Sills-Caldwell. Sister of Lisa Caldwell-Linder and Charles Richard Caldwell III, Charlene’s journey as a servant for God began on November 17, 1996, at the St. Paul Community Baptist Church. She served wherever there was a need, fostering her spiritual development through Adult Bible Study, Women’s Retreats, S.P.I.R.I.T. classes, and openness to God’s plans for her life.

Over the years, Charlene has served in several roles, including writer and researcher for Maafa Moments, playwright, and assistant in the Maafa Ministry. Her most rewarding assignment has been leading the Women's Jewel Ministry since 2004, where she labors to meet the needs of women, sharing whatever God assigns her to do. Despite seasons of trials, Charlene is certain that God controls the narrative of her life, guided by the Holy Spirit. She lives in the vein of God’s strength even when she falls short. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 4:23.
