Volunteer
As we move throughout our day, caring for family, working in our careers and taking care of self, we can get mired in a routine that leaves us feeling like something is missing. Giving back, with your time, talent and treasure, is not only biblical, but nuturing to your spirit.
Since 1974, the St. Paul Community Baptist Church ministry has worked tirelessly in our immediate community of East New York (Brooklyn) and throughout Kings County providing quality programming, much needed resources and assistance to its residents. It has been with the help of members of our congregation and friends of our ministry, just like you, that we have been allowed to be the beacon of light in an area that was once counted among the most challenged in our city.
With over 25 ministries and growth groups, St. Paul Community offers an array of volunteer opportunities, that offer participants the chance to improve the quality of life of our senior saints, burgeoning youth, baby boomers, Gen X'ers & Y'ers within our four walls and beyond. It is through our ground breaking work, that we touch the mind, body and spirit of those we serve, infusing our compassion as a ministry into highly effective programming and services.
Many hands make light work, join us as we continue to build and better our community, one brick and person at a time.
All volunteers will be required to participate in customer service training prior to beginning to serve and continual volunteerism development seminars for continual enhancement.
