The Work of St Paul Community Baptist Church…

St. Paul Community Baptist Church prides itself on being a change agent in our immediate community and beyond.  In addition to the home building Nehemiah Project, St. Paul serves its members and the residents of East New York through ministries such as:
 

Pastor of Congregational Care – Provides spiritual counseling, assessment, referrals and follow up to members of the congregation and staff who being challenged by disease, illness bereavement and addiction. 

Sacred Arts - is a biblically based organism, which is directly linked to the teaching of our Lead Pastor.   As members of our choir (The Voices of St. Paul), The Praise Team, our youth choir (Voices of Hope), or dance ministries (Unity Dancers - women; Eldad Medad Dancers - men), they have the heart of our pastor and follow the direction God has given him to lead His people in music and the sacred arts. 

Deaf Ministry – all worship services and every activity that happens at St Paul are American Sign Language interpreted for the deaf & hard of hearing. Our ministry consists of approximately 25 deaf men, women & children.

Men’s Ministry – Our dedicated and powerful ministry to men has produced a myriad of growth groups within the ministry including the Eldad Medad Dancers (praise dancing  by our men that is something to experience!), Weekly Bible Study - Eldad Medad Leadership Warrior Training, Simeon Guild (fellowship for men 59 1/2+), Chionesu Bakari Program for Young Men and much more…   

Women's Ministry - Since 1984, the Women's Ministry at St. Paul Community has been a robust ministry touching the lives of thousands of women in our congregation & community.  Renamed Jewels in 2000, this Jewel Ministry offers 10+ growth groups to meet the needs of SPCBC women & girls ages 1-70+.  

Youth Ministry - Affectionately know as Team Q, the youth of SPCBC meet weekly for bible study, have a full calendar of events including trips to Chuck E. Cheese for the Team Q JV to fun days at New Roc City for all, especially Team Q JV, college tours for Team Q Varsity and informative workshops on bullying, self esteem, a mentoring component for young Black males and more. 

Daytime Ministry - Meeting weekly on Wednesdays (for bible study and NoonDay Watch service), members of the Daytime Ministry include senior citizens, but also retirees, babysitters, evening workers and anyone who has free time during the day and is interested and available in receiving God's Word midweek during the day. Established in 1994, they also participate in community service projects, workshops and seeks to improve the general quality of life of ministry members. 

Discipleship Ministry - Serves to create and coordinate programming for the edification and holistic development of the SPCBC staff, congregation and community.
